I know Trotz has his faults but honestly I wouldn’t hate it. Trotz has a history of being able to generate playoff success, even if he kills you teams offence and future.

I feel Trotz would not work in Toronto. He doesnt like young players and chooses to play grizzled vets over them. If anything Clifford and Simmonds would be in the lineup over Engvall if he was head coach.

Remember he played Komorov on the top line with Barzal. Knowing him Clifford would be playing with Matthews and Marner.....
