I don't see how spending money with term on a guy with 55 career games fixes "this goaltending garbage", but to each their own I guess.

Amazing how one bad month, which happens to good and great goalies all the time especially when they get hurt and the goaltending is suddenly garbage.
The best part here is saying a guy with one good hit streak is gonna fix it all

Jesus. I don’t get why I’m seeing so many Leafs fans post that Husso is an “upgrade” to the goaltending.. he’s not. He’s nothing more than what Campbell is. Both are unproven and likely career backup options. Husso’s just had a hot season, you know like what Campbell had before half way through this year? This doesn’t change anything for the team.

The irony is that his profile has "Dubas is clueless" in it. Just realized he's paying Garret Sparks again, too. As if that would help the goaltending situation.

Campbell had half a season in his entire career of being a good goaltender. He’s been a backup most of his career. He needs to be gone before we pay him idiotic money and ruin our goaltending for years.

Honestly embarrassing that to be a Leafs fan you have to "love Dubas" and everything he does. He has made more questionable moves than good moves, the Lyubushkin trade is good but every time I see Kerfoot's face, I think of Kadri

and if he didnt trade kadri, when he got suspended in the playoffs again everyone would have yelled to fire Dubas anyways. It was a lose - lose situation for him.

Teams were calling on Kadri which is a first sign to not trade him. Rather than going for the picks and prospects route, he took two players that no NHL team was calling on: Tyson Barrie and Alex Kerfoot. Another mistake from Dubas was not replacing Keefe after two embarrassing series loses to Montreal and Columbus. While Keefe gives day offs after losses, Bruce Cassidy does this:

hey if micheal leighton can get to the cup finals, anyone can. the leaf can definitly win rounds this year, will it happen, who really knows. now if you want to try to get a different goaltender, go for it, but you are in no place to predict what will happen in the playoff. no one wins until they do. ovechkin was called a bad captain and a choker for years until they won. nothing changed.

Neither one is proven. Jack is 30 years old and he has never locked down a starting job in the NHL. That’s all I need to know to know he will never be the answer

Los Angeles doesn't need another left-handed forward, with Kopitar, Danault, Byfield, Lizotte and Vilardi at center and Kempe, Iafallo, Moore, Kaliyev, Grundstrom and possibly Turcotte already on the books for next season.

He had a .934 save % last year in the playoffs and he was one of the leagues best goalies in the entire year of 2021. He locked up a starting job then...

If that’s enough then Hudson has shown enough as well and he’s three years younger with more time to grow as a goaltender. Jack was dumped by Dallas and we sent a pretty good player to LA in Moore. 30 year old goalies that are legit prove themselves before they’re 30. We should have resigned Freddie but Dubas is clueless
