Just realized Joe Pavelski had a 5-point-game on Wednesday night (I knew he had 2 goals, didn't realize he assisted on all 3 others). Joins a couple of folks named Selanne, Gretzky, Brett Hull, Sakic, and Lemieux as the only players to record a 5-point-game at age 37 or older. Not bad company. Good thing I traded for him in fantasy a couple of weeks ago. cool

Yeah, there are 1st liners and starting goalies still available at 60. Even if you have sprong pegged as a breakout candidate, he shouldn't be drafted before your last pick (he literally doesn't even have an ADP on yahoo lol, only 1% rostered).

some Oilers fans acted like we traded a perennial Norris contender, imo with Bouchard coming up he was tradeable but I would have rather not trading him but I could appreciate Holland trying to fix the top 9 by getting Foelege, although I know some First Nations people who really liked Bear and were really sad to see him go

Stamkos has had a lot of injury troubles. If he was guaranteed to play 70+ games, he'd be a late 1st-early 2nd rounder. Barrie was primed for a regression after last season. Happens all the time. A pending UFA puts up career numbers and then gets paid. The following season, he's ranked 305th in Yahoo, lol. Remember Skinner? Watch what Kadri does next season.

To be brutally honest, I think that's the way it should be. If a player deserves to make it, he deserves to make it, and that's it. Adrian Kempe getting selected for the ASG over JT Miller is nuts, as is Keller over Rantanen, as is Suzuki over Stamkos AND Brad Marchand. Think about that: One of Stammer and Marchand (not to mention Barkov) is going to miss the ASG. That's INSANE. (Stammer was 2nd in CAPTAIN voting to Matthews, and he still might not make it. Not normal.)
EDIT: I just checked-Marchand's not even in the Last Men vote for the Bruins, McAvoy is. Brad Marchand, 7th in the NHL in scoring, didn't make the ASG. Unreal.


Lets think NFL, the bills defense was the best defense in the league. 0 players where All-stars on the defense, that's not really a big deal, buffalo fans aren't not gonna watch NFL football because no Buffalo player was selected.

Kyle Connor is a beast offensively, can't play offense but defensively he is horrible.

0 idea how Campbell made both lists lul. Like hes not over or under rated. Hes just fun to watch and likeable in every possible way lul

As for Matthews and Draisaitl makes 0 sense why these 2 are overrated

Matthews is 2nd in the NHL in goals per game statistics behind Ovechkin and Draisaitl is a 100 point player

Guess some people got salty they were lighting up their teams on the score sheet

As if this was the criteria one could argue Mcjesus, Crosby, and other stars should have been on the list lul

I did Carey as overrrated and Campbell underrated. I did Carlson overrated and Martin fer underrated. Connor is underrated and I don’t remember who I put as overrated

what on gods green earth is Drai doing on that list, also Nurse had 16 goals last year and Chychrun had 18 and all of sudden he is superstar, Nurse was also 7th in Norris voting

Also Weegar is on the wrong list, he a good half a season and all of a sudden is a elite

I am not talking just about this survey, that is pretty much how I feel towards anything JFresh puts out. imo advanced analytics is for looking through the bargain bin FA not for saying legit top 6 or top 4 players are terrible or overrated
