I guarantee that Capfriendly is used within organizations. There was even a picture or screengrab a few years back of some office of the - I wanna say the Hurricanes, but I could be wrong - and there were multiple screens that had Capfriendly open. I don't blame them either, it's a very convenient tool.

I’m not so sure. Unless he gets like 90 points this year (or 40 goals) I can’t see him getting much more than DeBrincat on a 3 year deal. Pettersson was well above Suzuki in points per game in his first 3 seasons, same with Barzal who got 3x7*. If he continues to be around 60 points, IMO mid to high 7s on a 6 year deal seems reasonable. And on a 3 year deal around $6.5 million makes sense.

*They were around the same in year too but Barzal was back around a point per game in year 3.

Now that LeBrun has confirmed it, whatever Pagnotta said has no credibility at all, frankly he shouldn’t have any credibility at all at anything he says.

I wonder if Panik will get claimed. He was overpaid at 2.75 mill but Detroit retained 50% . I’d say 1.375 is fair for what he brings.

Replacing Gambrell if he gets claimed makes even more sense to claim Brown. Brown would easily have a shot at a roster shot this season. He’s only behind:

Weatherby (first pro season rookie)
Pedersen (AHL pp/g 2 season, this will be his biggest challenge)
Brown (assuming Gambrell is claimed)

Other than that he’s right there. Because I think Gambrell will be claimed.
