The Canadiens don't deserve to win the Cup

They scratched Jon Merrill

Go Lightning

That didn't work out, but at least I got the score right. Maybe I'm just half sus.

Your flair tells the truth.

You gotta be the real deal to achieve sus.

Do not forget.

McDonagh is MTL draft pick. They traded him for Devils legend Scott Gomez.

I seen something on Facebook that every Stanley cup final since 80 has featured a teammate of Jagr. I don't have Twitter so I can't post it but if you have Facebook look at Freeze the puck hockey.

Now I feel old lol. I started to follow the league around those times. Was pretty tough though since I didn't understand English that well as a 12 year old

I started watching hockey and going to Devils games when I was 5. I got more into hockey trades, signings, etc around 5 years ago

I’d like to say how proud i am of this team, i didn’t expect us to get this far and it has been a great ride, hopefully we can come back next year and harness this magic

Well this is now a bit premature...

I keep seeing posts like this throughout these playoffs. Too many men isn't called like this. There are so many times throughout a game where teams have 6, 7, 8 guys on the ice. Players hop on the ice before the guy they're replacing comes off all the time (it's supposed to be a 5' range, but that's to the discretion of the official and as long as the player is out of the play, early changes tend to be let go). As long as neither guy swapping handles the puck or otherwise impacts the play (physical contact with opposing player), it's not a penalty. Both these goals are fine. I don't know if it became a meme and I missed it, or if all the complaints are genuine, but I've been seeing a lot of people "pointing out" too many men.

Question y'all:

Do players make their salary on the taxi squad?

Like I know players who have a one way make their 800k regardless. Players on two ways make a different salary in the AHL and NHL. But does the taxi squad follow that same format? (I know the taxi squad is ending). I'd assume they'd treat the two ways pay the same (AHL/TAXI vs NHL), but I am not sure.

The taxi-squad players are treated as if they’re in the AHL while on the taxi-squad.

Fun fact, Charlie Lindgren made the same amount of money per game as Connor McDavid this year, and he didn’t even have to pay escrow! And he wasn’t even injured at any point in the season. They both made $250,000 per game.

Edit: To clarify this includes any professional hockey game, not just in the NHL.

Actually $59,657 per minute, because his salary was only $4 million this year.
