Équipe: 2021-22 Sabres de Buffalo
Date de création initiale: 14 mai 2021
Publié: 14 mai 2021
Mode - plafond salarial: Basique
Description
- Buffalo needs to get enough from the other teams, where the fans of other teams react "Damn"
- He should not be traded to the Eastern Conference, quite honest their isn't a team that makes sense for the sabres to trade within the East.
-Either LA or ANA
-Eichel is a top tier Franchise center, no conditional or protected first round picks. Period. You are not getting a rental, you are getting a 24 year old hitting his prime.
-Dahlin and Jokiharju - Not sure if either have played well enough to earn long term high avg contracts - I see both getting bridge deals.

really? I thought he was disappointing this year, in this case, we can give him more - especially considering we would be lucky to get one of Savard/RNH/Grubauer, let alone all three.

    1. That is a little much for Eichel, Byfeild went second overall in a rally deep draft. The 2021 pick is a lottery pick and should be enough imo.
    2. That is a lot to give up for Risto. Maybe if Buffalo retains, however probably only looking at a 2nd in return

Why would LA or Calgary do this? Both are going to be rebuilders, and shouldn’t be giving up good, young pieces for short-term gain.

Calgary isn't rebuilding IMO. Retooling is the route we should go

Reinhart is a 20 goal 60 point guy. He’s not worth two 1sts and a young middle six winger with upside lol. And that’s before you add the Buffalo tax of nobody from the Sabres being worth fair value because it’s a hellhole everyone wants to leave

Why do people give draftees random ELC contracts. The max ELC doesnt raise until the 2022 draft and its rising to $950,000. Thats why star rookies all enter the league at 925k. Sabres dont need Byfeild, LA has a plethora of forward prospects to choose from

With solid wingers he's a 35 goals PPG center.

Eichel is not a 30 year old player on an expiring contract. He is 24 and under contract for the next 5 seasons which will be his prime years. The odds of these three pieces combined matching Eichels impact over the next 5 years is very unlikely. Reinhart is also in the prime of his career and would be moved in a sign and trade so again a prime asset under contract for several years offering a much bigger impact for several seasons than the subsequent return.

He's 25 and has never had better than a 65 point pace playing with a top 10 centre in the league. How do you even come to that conclusion? There's literally no evidence to support that. And don't point to this year, where he shot 41% higher than his career average, as evidence that he's suddenly a god. He's still only on a 60pt pace.

I believe that maybe he could score 35 goals and maybe 70 points maybe not a ppg but with Tkachuk on his wing Id say he could get a ppg.

I love Tkachuk but Eichel is significantly more talented offensively, and he wouldn’t centre Tkachuk anyway, because he’s not better than Lindholm and Tkachuk plays with him, not to mention he would play RW on Calgary regardless. Maybe if he bumps Johnny back to playing with Monahan he could get 70 pts on the top line but he also might not even be on our top PP unit. I also don’t think Reinhart’s got 35 goal potential in general though, because he’s only scoring at that rate this year when he’s blowing his career shooting percentage out of the water. That should regress.
