SO Vegas trade is based on team needs. Vegas has Tuch buried on third line but has LD playing on the right side. Trade value is good as both players are in the 4-5 million AAV.
Minnesota trade is giving Wild a B level prospect and local boy for a 3rd line winger who has yet to live up to potential. It also frees up a little cap space for Wild. Buffalo gets a true power forward and former Jr linemate of Jack's. Is a 30 point guy who is not afraid to throw his body around.
Calgary trade is about filling holes on both teams. Calagry can slide Lindholm to 1C and Backlund at 2C. They have Tkachuk and Gaudreau on LW but have no one on the right side. Risto is overall still a better offensive and more physical defenseman than Hanifin. So for anyone thinking that Monahan is better then Reinhart, Risto is better then Hanifin making this a fairly even trade.
