Must agree. Lilly played great when Reilly was out. The other times he was either nursing an injury and getting his form back in game time. Despite this, he still was between the 2nd and 4th highest TOI every game. His advanced stats showed him and his pairing always in the plus. Add in the fact that he did have his major bad moments as well. Most experts predict his salary to be about 3 million which for a defenseman his age and capabilities in the top 4 is a good deal. Now the fact that he still has a year or two to develop more into a way better defenseman.

That Marner-for-Werenski deal would get you deservedly crucified by both sides.
