Description
Guentzel reunites with Crosby.
Stamkos reunites with St- Louis.
Nemec reunites with Slafkovsky.
Caufield reunites with Hughes.
Celebrini reunites with Hutson.
And we pray Price’s knee is good for one final playoff run so we print our T-shirts about being $17mm over the cap.
Armia and Dvorak can be brought back at half salary at the deadline for further picks to Pittsburgh for depth purposes.

If we think about Dubas trades, MTL may get Crosby for Ylonen, a 2nd round pick, and Dvorak.. LOL!

Just kidding Pens fans, You'll have it real bad until they show Dubas the door..

wouldnt be anything for the devils to consider habs wouldnt offer that. Slaf is a unicorn in their organization and has continued to steadily improve in all facets of his game. On a side not i dont see any reason for them to pursue Nemec period, knowing that the package would have to be significant.

is that for 20 year old crosby or 36--37 year old crosby? If pens move him, and they probably should to kick off a serious rebuild, the return is probably gonna be in the realm of 3 firsts, either picks or prospect. Its on year of crosby i dont see anyone given up more than that, and most likely any first round picks would be late firsts if its a team like the Aves leading the push to land him.

Every one think Slaf is a trade asset.. Why? Hugues picked him over fan favorite, I don't see him going anywhere. Ghule, Reinbacher, Dach, Suzuki and Caufield, same thing they're not budging the core they are building up. Personally Dach wasn't a good deal.. He's played 1/4 of the games since he's been here and he's injured 90% of his body while washing dishes.. The guy can play, he's got talent, he's one hell of a player.. But he's not playing so he's worthless. Should've kept Romanov.

Harris, Barron, Mesar, Beck, Condotta, Norlinder, Dvorak, Anderson, Gally, Armia, Evans, Pezzetta, Ylonen, Kovacevic, are all players that could be viewed as assets to trade for lots, or nothing depending on the player.

32 teams in the NHL would take Caufield. Jersey top of the list given the connection with Hughes, which will only continue to develop with the national team in international best on best tourneys. The Devils would be lucky to have him, but we’re not moving him. I was just curious what the team would look like with the cap space.

Yes, obviously Crosby wouldn't care. Do you know who would? FSG. Because Crosby leaving guarantees millions leaving in revenue for that season. So they would NEVER approve of a trade without it being massive.

if crosby walks for nothing after that year they will be losing a whole lot more in revenue when they rebuild drags on and on.

Yes, but that is something out of their control and still ignores the millions being lost immediately if he is traded a season earlier. But that is a massive disconnect between fans doing this with no accountability and GMs actually working with ownership oversight.

NJD is not moving a 900k top dman for a 8 mill winger. If Montreal wants to offer Caufield+ for Bratt maybe we can have that discussion (Guhle and Montembault are pieces of interest on top)

Not whining at all... I'd actually move on that.. To get Crosby in MTL.. I think it would be a steal.. Personally I'd give Dvroak (50% retention), Barron, Harris, Beck, Norlinder, WIN 1st, and 2X 2nd rounders. If they want I'd even forget about the 2X 2nd rounders and provide WIN 1st AND CAL's 1st, but would remove either Harris or Barron form the equation. This would need to be with that Crosby signs for 3 years in MTL (around 7M$yr probably) . He'd be a great asset for the Habs and the money cash cow that he'd bring in.. OUch..

If Gretzky was able to forget the C on his jersey, I think Crosby can take an A instead and leave the C to Suzuki and teach him.

I'm saying Dubas does worse trades than that.. You have a way better view than him of what to get for Crosby. He'd trade in his 2023 Ferrari for a 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe, would still have to pay 30K$ at 6.6% interest for 8 years on it and think he won the deal..

I bleed for Pens fan.. I do like the Pens, they should have a better team in order to at least try one more time, but Dubas isn't a builder.. He'll destroy the team to get that first overall then 2 or 3 top 3 picks and still be unable to figure out why he can't win series. Just look at what he did in TO.. Really.. You have Matthews, Marner, Nylander, Tavares, and Rielly.. still he never woke up to figure out he also needed defensive defensemen, a good goalie and some grit players. He got more point makers that don't block and don't carry the puck.. That's a huge hole on defense and that'll hurt your team. He's doing the same bringing in Karlsson.. Should've gotten a player with less points, but more +'s and grit around the net...

I hope the Sr Management open their eyes with the attitude Crosby showed in the locker room after that awful trade for Guentzel..

Yes, obviously Crosby wouldn't care. Do you know who would? FSG. Because Crosby leaving guarantees millions leaving in revenue for that season. So they would NEVER approve of a trade without it being massive.

Sure, so they wait a year and get nothing.
And piss off someone they want as an ambassador of the franchise for 40+ years after he retires.
        Smart business model.
        Not.
You need to think bigger picture.

Yes, but that is something out of their control and still ignores the millions being lost immediately if he is traded a season earlier. But that is a massive disconnect between fans doing this with no accountability and GMs actually working with ownership oversight.

If Crosby wins a cup with the Habs, it only strengthens his long term post playing career value to the Pens. He overtakes Gretzky as the GOAT imho in that scenario.

They’re gonna let him makes this decision. No question about it.
