Thanks for taking Joey but I can't see the Avs wanting to revisit Eller and while I'm high on Ned, I don't think he fits what the Avs like in a backup, namely, a ton of NHL games under their belt.

That doesn’t make sense for COL including Eller, though the price is probably more than fair and even though it didn’t exactly work in COL the first time I think that was in part because he was being asked to do things he isn’t capable of doing. So maybe COL does it if they can get a Roslovic or somebody else with a low cap number to slot in as a 3c

Hawks aren't retaining on Smith w/ the extra year on his deal. That would leave them w/ only one retention slot for next season.

I wouldn't say they aren't doing it. But it costs more than this. POJ is worthless to CHI, and the 3rd isn't enough for 1.5 years of 50% retention.

Avs decline. Eller wasn't a good fit before, he won't be now, especially with a second year of term. Ned also isn't what the Avs need as a back up G imo. However, you could probably turn those guys into assets elsewhere and still get a third from the Avs just for taking RyJo.
