Of all the Leafs Fans on here TMLBRIAN is definitely on the lower end of homerism but I agree this is not a trade Calgary would make.

2 reasons. Putting all your eggs in 1 basket is never a logical choice. Since only 1 team can win the cup, having your assets spread out is far more logical when trading for futures.
