Andersson is not for sale. That wouldn't be enough anyhow especially not for edmonton.

I don't think the Habs are looking to take 4 more years to rebuild, I think they believe they are gonna need this year and next year before being a perennial playoff team and serious contender but management, ownership and especially the fans don't want to see 6-8 years worth of missed playoffs or finishing bottom 10. We have a solid core of top 6 F/ top 4 D we need one or two prospects who are top 20 F or top 30 D in the league and a true starting goal tender to get there but I don't believe it will be 4 more years, I think the Habs will finish somewhere in the bottom 10-15 and already have a guy in mind who has the size, skill and speed to be a 1C if they miss the top 3 in the draft. My gut feeling is they really like Cayden Lindstrom and I can see them taking him as high as 4th. The guy is basically a bigger better version of what the hope Dach will become.

I’d check out as an oiler fan if holland made that trade with the Habs. It’s not going to cost that much to move Campbell. La moved a comparable situation last year for much less.

As a Habs fan, I would accept ... if both first round picks are unprotected lol (I know it never happens anymore to trade unprotected 1st rounders...)

I don't see Andersson moving this year. The only way he moves is for a 1st line forward with a decent contract. Maybe someone like Tuch.
