Blackwell & Anderson are very expendable but Duhaime has no value, he is another bottom 6 guy. They have plenty of bottom 6 guys. If Hawks are going to use a retention spot,it should be more value coming back.

That’s not necessarily a bad return for Bortuzzo if the Blues go the direction of selling. I’d be surprised if he returned more than a mid round pick tbh

It's not really about the return. That said, far worse Dmen than Bortz have returned a 3rd at the TDL. His value shoots up at the TDL. Dirt cheap, experienced and totally reliable with a unique and desired skill set.

Trade with the Hawks is useless for them too. No chance they retain on a player only to get a rental back. They are not a contender.
