Ah okay sorry I don’t realize this was a troll post lol didn’t see you bought out like 10 players at first

No thanks on both trades and both UFA signings.
Chychrun should go for a 1st and 3rd or 2nd without having to give up Farabee and retain on him for 5 years and Risto for 3. Ur literally taking up all 3 of our retention slots for 2 years then 2 slots for 3 years after that

I’m not a conspiracy theorist but the league has a few instances of teams winning the lottery after major issues happen with the organization. Penguins threatening relocation and Chicago’s sexual assault scandal are just two instances of it.
The NHL is a business, making sure giant organizations like Chicago and Pittsburgh are only being talked about in a positive way for decades drives more money.
You can choose to believe whatever you want but people also never believed referees were picking and choosing when to call penalties until they started getting caught on hotmics

I mean let’s be real the window is shut. Tampa literally only made the playoffs based on a career year from Kucherov and 7 teams behind them all losing basically all of their last 20 games lol. Unless Kucherov is going to put up 140 points every year then everyone is going to continue to age

Yeah I’m sure he does want to be there but is it worth it to get 1st or 2nd rounded for 6 more years and then rebuild for 10 years or start now and try to get a jump on things. Signing a 3-4 year deal allows him to flipped soon, same with Hedman, Vasi, and Kucherov in that time where you can gets ransoms and jumpstart a rebuild.
Right now you guys literally have no real prospects and it’s gonna painful for a long time if you guys let all ur players just keep extending as they get older

You act like the NHL isn’t going to rig the lottery to get the first pick like they did with Lemieux and Crosby and for the Blackhawks last year with Bedard. Just threaten relocation or have a giant sexual assault scandal and the league will shut all of that talk down with winning the lottery

I mean is it even worth it at this point anyway? Might just be time to start rebuilding. Without 60% of the East being disappointing and if Kucherov has a typical season for himself Tampa probably isn’t even if the playoffs to begin with this year, u got ur cups but seems to me like it’s time to start getting assets back for guys while they have value. Obviously Stamkos and Duclair are UFAs but signing them to short term deals and higher AAV’s and flipping them at the deadline might make the most sense

I’d expect more for TK if he’s coming with an extension for the future and retention to help Dallas for next year. I would expect that to be the prospect and their 1st

Seeler is absolutely better lol he’s one of the most underrated defenseman in the league.
Ur talking about a kid with 56 games played in the league. If he was as good as you think he is it wouldn’t only be 56 games.

3 years of Skinner versus 6 years of Coots is not the same. Teams don’t take up a retention slot for 6 years unless ur Mine Grier making stupid moves. And even in that case they are getting paid handsomely for it not the other way around

You’re right though there aren’t many examples of teams trading 5+ years of a bad contract but I think the value is adequate</div></div>
It’s not lol. Ur getting a 2C for a few years that will then be a 3C for $5M a year. Thats less than the going rate for 2Cs and will be the correct rate for 3Cs in a few years when the cap rises. If you’re so concerned about his injury history u wouldn’t trade for him, but the Flyers aren’t retaining and paying to dump him again it literally doesn’t happen. You either retain and trade for little or nothing or pay to dump

Would rather just have Risto than Anderson and two meh prospects.
With the right retention Risto could be moved without having to take a bad contract like Anderson back

There’s 0 chance the Flyers trade Coots this offseason, they will just hope he has a great year next year and maybe try to move him then with less retention.
Please give me an example of a team retaining almost $20M on a player and paying multiple high picks for a team to take the player?
It doesn’t happen.

Michkov next year
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>JayTea</b></div><div>Probably. Frost is a bigger than Rossi so he'd check that block that Guerin apparently is after but can he play top 6 center? I don't watch many Flyers games so no idea, but if his ceiling is a 3C than he's a bandaid for next season and the appeal would be the draft pick which Colorado's will likely be in the late 20s next year unless they get slammed with the injury bug. Neither seem like they'd help the team in the long run more than Rossi might be able to. Getting pick #12 in this draft could be a chance for the Wild to either add 2 more prospects to their pool or package them to try to move up.
Again, I'm not familiar with the Flyers. Is their prospect pool in a position where they could give up a 1st this draft to bring in a young center still on his ELC?</div></div>
Frost is definitely a 2C at that point maybe on a top top contender would be a 3C. Flyers need a 1C desperately so if they are trading for one then they wouldn’t need to worry about drafting one

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>NucksnOilers</b></div><div>Holloway has dealt with a ton of unlucky injuries and has been so great for us in the playoffs so far, Broberg also has been doing great in the AHL. As stated by Bluetomorrow83 we are up against the cap pretty hard next year meaning we are going to be relying on Broberg and Holloway to fill key depth (or for Holloway potentially top 6 if he keeps this up) spots for cheap.
Only way I can see either being moved is in a larger package for TK or Sanheim which Philly won't want to do</div></div>
Id personally be interested in moving both players and Flyers should be but Danny doesn’t want to fully tear it down.

Yeah there’s no reason for the flyers to do that Pionk is a rental and even if he signs an extension he’s 29 why the hell would we want to sign him to an extension anyway? This team is supposed to be rebuilding and shedding big contracts not adding them.
