If Matt Roy leaves LA he will want to go to a competitor, both Toronto and Carolina would definitely go after him, he's also from Michigan.

But I think he signs long term with the Kings (at a discount as he will likely shore up the third pair if Clarke succeeds)

It would be very on brand to hand out truck loads of cash to old players

If that's what Roy's extension costs, you guys can have him.

Doubt Carolina would go after him. He's got all the same issues as Pesce in terms of contract, but Pesce's better.

I see them as somewhat different players personally but noted.

I think with the Hurricanes only having one RD under contract after this year is more why this is concerning, if the Kings have a chance of losing Matt Roy so do the Hurricanes in losing Pesce.

Doug Wilson is gone. Hopefully Grier doesn't repeat history. ☹️

I didn't say Pesce was staying, but they don't want to commit that much money to someone of that age. Roy and Pesce are the same age.

Grier goes for the Low AAV short term deals and sees what sticks. Regardless these are all massive overpays except for Barabanov who should definitely be making over 4 on his next contract

If the Blues can move Leddy or Krug, I'd pay that for Ferraro in a second. Now, TDL, whatever.

Good luck moving those 2 contracts. Would you like a Vlasic pickle? 😭

Army is a very good GM though. If any GM can make it happen it's him.

If Helle isn't re signing in Winnipeg, he sure as hell isn't signing in San Jose, especially for 8M

Hopefully its SJ or some other team that gives Hellebuyck that contract and not the Jets.

Helly would face more rubber than the characters in "Boogie Nights" if he played for the Sharks.

You are aware that a team agreed to take Krug unretained mere weeks ago, right? squinty smile I never said it would be easy, but nothing that's worth much in life is. As soon as somebody's PP1 triggerman goes down, his name will start popping up in rumors again. Plus, there's a very good chance he can't play as bad as he did last season again.

I wasn't aware Krug was traded? You are aware I can't find any proof this happened? Ice up, son. 🤭

Are you trying to be daft? I did not say he was traded, I said a team agreed to a trade that included taking his full contract, which we all know is a fact.

I honestly don't get people at all. You know 10000% beyond a doubt that I am correct in my claim of a widely known fact, and yet for some bizarre reason you just have to continue working hard to look foolish AND then pretend like I'm the one playing dumb on top of it.

Incredible. I must be an alien.
