John Farinacci a signé un contrat de 2 ans d'une valeur de 1 900 000 $ avec les Bruins de Boston, le 16 août 2023. Le contrat comporte un cap hit de 910 000 $.
Worst case he plays in minors for a total of $165,000 over the next two years. Best case, a minor miracle occurs and he contributes something to the Bruins.
Can hardly blame any kid who holds out on signing with Arizona when they are such an unmitigated clown show
Yep, and that's really, REALLY bad news for Arizona. They have to get their **** sorted out soon, or they will enter a death spiral. No player will want to sign with them, so they won't have enough talent on the ice to sell tickets, making it impossible to find a permanent home, which will result in fewer players who will want to sign with them, etc.

ARZ just had 3 guys resign with them that they traded at the deadline. They're not a top destination but players will sign with them.
Plus they are sticking to the plan of rebuilding, Chayka rushed it Armstrong looks committed to the long term: probably finish 20-25th this year in the standings, move Dumba, Zucker, Brown, Stretcher, O'Brien, Boyd, Dermott at the deadline, take on more bad contracts to hopefully get a 1st round pick, and repeat for 1-2 more years and wait for some of the prospects to develop. It's not fast but I like what they are doing a lot.
