The value is fine in a vacuum, but Columbus has absolutely no reason to move Jenner. He's their captain, longest tenured player, on a sweetheart deal he took to stay rather than hit UFA, and can credibly play anywhere in the lineup. It would take an overpayment to get them to move him.

No joke at all. Jenner is the team's captain, the soul of the locker room, beloved in the community, and plays a position that Columbus is thin at, both historically and right now. MEANWHILE, Swayman is a goalie, and while we DO need better goaltending, neither Elvis nor Tarasov can go to Cleveland. So if we're gonna go through all that trouble AND give up Boone, that's what gets our attention.

You must be joking
The value is hyperbole, but the sentiment is still true. It would be like the Bruins trading Bergeron (obviously not equal in value), based on what they mean to their teams. Boone is so critical to the organization, and frankly a unique player on a great deal that would have a ton of teams calling if he
were available, that it would take a massive overpay to get Columbus to consider it.
If you want actual values, probably the equivalent of 2 1sts and a top prospect to get the conversation started. So yeah, 2 1sts and probably Lohrei to even get consideration. It's way easier to say he's not available.
