Anaheim is super high on Zellweger. They would have to consider this but I don't think Nylander matches their timeline.
Chicago is not retaining 25% of Karlsson for 4 years for a 4th round pick and Abruzzese. This would start with a 1st round pick or a high end prospect.
LAK is not trading Arvidson for a 3rd and Matt Murray. Murray will likely cost more than that on his own to move. Arvidsson would still probably get a 2nd and a 3rd round pick from a team at this point in the offseason. Maybe a bit less because money has dried up and a guy like Tarasenko is still out there. But either way he has quite a bit of value.

I think you need to reconsider what it would cost for CHI to retain 25% of EK's contract for 4 years. That is a cap hit of $2.875M x 4 years and a total of $9.75M in salary owed to EK.

Lol at thinking the Hawks will burn a retention spot (leaving them with 1 for 2 season) to get a 4th and a guy that would not sniff their top 15 prospects for the privledge of paying EK 9-10 million to play for the Leafs. Why would the TML want EK 65 - yes -- great yr offensively last year -- but look at previous 4 seasons. He is 33 and look at the future cap hit.
