Anaheim isn't making the playoffs in the next 2 years, so trading McTavish for Marner is just foolish

I came here to say something similar but that 1st rounder may be enticing enough to have them move McTavish as they know they will have a top end 1,2 punch of Fantilli and Zegras.

Zegras, Terry, McTavish, Drysdale, 2023 2OA, 2024 1st, 2025 1st, Zellweger, Gaucher, Mintyukov, Luneau are all untouchable

Disagree. Brodie wasn't great in the Playoffs, but he's known from his steady game. Maybe he played with an injury🤔. Brodie isn't a righty, but he plays mainly on the right side.

Zero risk in this trade. Only a 1 year contract and we should get a 3rd round pick back from Brodie at the Deadline anyways, probably even more if we retain money. I think it would be smarter to trade a 3rd for Brodie than overpay a UFA.
