Bertuzzi is going to want a longer deal, and if I am Boston, I would give you Ullmark before Swayman.

I also think this would be incredibly unwise for San Jose to do.

This team is better. But it still isn't a good team. LD is a problem. Centres and RW are below average. LW relies heavily on Eklund taking a lot of steps forward. Goaltending is good though.

This is a bottom 10 team for sure. Maybe bottom 5.

    A mid/late 1st isn't going to get you Swayman

I disagree with this, LD is young but has good potential. There’s scoring added on both wings, centers are veterans who are solid two way players. Both Bertuzzi and Barbashev bring the physicality San Jose is looking to add.

Bruins reject. Unsure why you're signing 27yo, 28yo and 31yo players to these contracts and making the team better for a worse pick...

There have been multiple bruins fans who made this trade after I posted this but they just included a 4th…

I don’t think San Jose should do this at all, I’d rather have another high pick. But this adds scoring depth and physicality on all lines. They also don’t have many prospects ready to break into the nhl. Maybe Bordeleau and Gushchin are the closest but after that it’s a while before anyone is ready

While I don't think this is the vision for the Sharks going forward correct me if I'm wrong but aren't teams only allowed 2 buyouts?

Canucks decline the deal because of the added salary coming back in Kunin. Canucks management has said if they trade a Boeser or Garland they don't want to retain so why would they take money back?

I don’t think there’s a limit on buyouts, not that I know anyway.

Kunin only has a year at less than $3 mil so it does open up over $10 mil over two seasons

Doesn't mean the Bruins would do it and curiously, who are they?
