Trading Kulich for Murphy would be a mistake.

On paper, actually the trades look fair. But adding four players to the lineup, well that doesn't make a team better necessarily. Just my opinion, the Sabres should just rolling with current line-up, and they still might make the playoffs.. Maybe one trade.
Have the Sabres improved their defence THAT much by Murphy/Kulikov/Thrun and trading Jokhirhari. Surely there are some other short term bottom enders that could help just help just as much

Kulikov broke his tailbone right before the season started when he was here. I believe it was a freak accident with the bench door. He probably came back too early, and played hurt on a bad team. I don't think he'd be open to coming back, I think they said he had an awful time.
