They're going to be tight on cap space next year with Boldy needing a raise so trading 2 good players for 1 more expensive than both of them put together doesn't make cap space management sense and it's not like they need a scoring winger. They've had no problem scoring goals so far, they just need to tighten up their defensive play and get some better play from their goalies (which Fleury at least seems to be finding his game). Trade makes no sense for the Wild.

They might two if both those guys are doing well, they won't trade them straight for Boeser.

That would make it a retool. While a rebuild doesn't REQUIRE a full teardown, a rebuild would require a.) more comprehensive changes and/or b.) a focus on picks and prospects in the returns.
