Devils say no....go elsewhere Nucks fans, please.

Miller makes no sense to a young team not in their window yet. No, a 30yr doesn't put them over, and his decline will come inverse to the climb of this team.

We’ll pass thanks.

Here are 2 scenarios that Boston would trade for JT.

1st/Debrusk a pair of secondary pieces. Berglund/Lauko maybe.

1st/Zacha a pair of secondary pieces.

Never going to involve Carlo, Lysell, or multiple 1sts.

Nucks will not do those so there is no trade to be made.

One last one. If Pasta went to the front office today and said trade me or, i will not re-sign here. Then Pasta/Debrusk for JT/Garland would be an interesting scenario.

Highly unlikely.

Rangers aren’t giving up Schneider. Other then that a lot of these trade are really weird? A lot of them are acquiring older player that don’t match up with the core of this team

Ranger trade is absurd but par for the course with Canuck fans. Keep dreaming.

Canucks fans thinking a 29 yo Miller on an expiring contract is worth more than a 23 yo Bratt who is entering his prime and will get less money 😂

Miller optimum trade value now is at TDL. Unless a team (and there not be many suitors) think he is a difference maker, the return isn't going to be as much as Canuck fans think. And what Miller is going to be traded? The usual 70 point a season Miller, or last years 100 point Miller.

Bruins already have 5 LHD on the roster, so why would they want another LHD? On top of that they have 3 RHD on the roster and in this this care swapping a RHD for a LHD, so now they'd have 6 LHD & 2 RHD (which makes no sense). If I break this trade out I see it like this:

OEL for Coyle - AAV is nearly identical (if Vancouver retained $2 million), but OEL is owed another year on his contract. In real money OEL is also owed $29 million for the rest of his deal. Coyle is only owed $13.5 million on his.

Carlo + 1st for Miller - Maybe there's a team that would pay that, but its not Boston. No need for Miller with Krjeci & Bergeron back.

1st + 5th for Garland - Feels right value wise

I don’t think JT will be traded to the devils either but to say “go elsewhere, please” seems a little redundant when he posted 6 different trade ideas

The funny thing is, they're quite aware of the bolded. It's why they want to trade him in the first place. They just keep failing to acknowledge that other teams are in the same situation.

I'm sure Vancouver would want more than a 4C, a late pick, and Texier. Jackets are one of the few teams with a glut of RD, so you'd think a deal between the two teams would involve one of them. Kuraly's also not going anywhere, even if the money needs to move. He's one of those look-past-the-numbers guys for the team.

I still don't understand why Vancouver wants to trade him. He fits their window so well age-wise, he's a good two-way center who put up 99pts. He just seems like the kind of player you make every effort to retain.

Vancouver's best bet is to just keep him on the roster (unless blown away with an offer) and see how the season plays out. Maybe they can get him done long-term mid season, maybe someone loses a top 6 center and needs to replace them for the rest of the season or maybe there is a team feels like he's the last piece they need for a serious run. IDK why but it feels like a guy OTT could target depending on how their season is going. If they are seeing success and a playoff contender, I could see them grabbing him for a push since they haven't made the playoffs in 5-6 years now.
