Team's are really gonna twist Vegas' arm here. Can't speak for other goalies but I guarantee you if the Habs move Allen it's for more than a pair of thirds.

I have seen Brossoit cap dumped. Why would we take that for one of the best(IMO) backups in the leauge last year?

Because goalies don't move for a lot. A 2nd for Vladar is pretty fair. Maybe VGK would throw in a 4th or something too, but that's about it. You're better off just keeping him.

But some teams have no reasons to trade their back up. So poor offer won’t land them

Reimer could get a 2nd elsewhere, not sending him to Vegas on a discount with a puck going with him

I think Ullmark waives for Vegas. Chance to be clear 1. Reunite with Casssidy.

But Boston does not get better with that trade or need to move him so it’s an easy no.

Nice to dream but backup goalies don’t get more that that. Even good ones. Georgiev went for a pair of 3rds and a 5th, that was when there was a goalie market.

Very true. Interesting situation here as teams walk the fine line of trying to push Vegas as far as they can for their guy without them pivoting to some other option.

Sj is not helping Vegas. If there is a trade for a Sharks player it will be a substantial overpay.

Funny everyone thinks teams have Vegas over a barrel. I say it’s the opposite. A bunch of teams have goalies they’d like to move but only 1 buyer.

I'm not sure how you think vladar was one of the best back ups. He seems to have decent upside but he has a sub 0.910 save percentage. He had good w/l record but that's more the team in front of him

They can try. But insurance for a moderate cost seems smart. This team is too good today to waste on questionable tending (see Edmonton last year)

I don't think there are that many teams looking to move a goalie. Most of the goalie trades happened earlier this season. If Vegas had pulled their head out of their ass and not pushed a limping Lehner onto the ice for multiple games down the stretch, they might have gone into the off-season knowing the needed a goalie, and been able to pick up a reasonable one year replacement. Probably could have kept patches on LTIR until the post season too.

All of this points to the fact that Vegas has no idea what is going on under their own roof.

I figure it gives them cap space and gets them out of Ullmark with a back up coming back. Then they go swayman starter.
