Team Canada has played 2 games lol and they’ve been against Latvia and Slovakia, getting points vs weak opponents isn’t exactly an accomplishment and plenty of players have had good QMJHL tenures and then couldn’t make the NHL on a consistent basis, junior success does not equal NHL success, someone like Nail Yakupov, Micheal Dal Colle and plenty of others should remind you of that

Roy is a good prospect but nowhere near as exciting as Bedard. I can guarantee you that if you went back to 2015 and told people that McDavid is overhyped because he hasn’t played a game yet, you would be called crazy. Nobody would think you’re crazy if you weren’t hyping up a late round pick from 2 years ago

The point is, Bedard’s potential is likely a top 5 center in the league. Roy’s potential is likely a good middle six forward
