You really comparing Fiala with DeBrincat? The very same DeBrincat that already has 2 40 goal seasons. Give us a break.

Not even in the ballpark for Alex DeBrincat, For even including Jonathan Drouin and then a late 26th overall 2022 1st round pick. Come on man 30 other NHL teams blow this away.

They better try a whole heck of alot harder than that if they want him

I'm going to guess this offer below was from CBJ so it would be the 6th OV+12th OV+B/C prospect for DeBrincat that was rejected if I'm correct.

Let me join in and parrot everyone else. That is not even close on Cat.

Fiala was a pending RFA who the Wild had to move for cap reasons and had no leverage, and the Wild still got a solid return. Chicago doesn’t have to move Debrincat

First off Fiala couldn't be signed by Minnesota.

Secondly, DeBrincat has a career PPG of 0.83 and he's 8th in Goals in that time league-wide. While Fiala is 0.67PPG and while he might have proven he can be a PPG player, DeBrincat has proven he can score goals (and is one of the best).

That's going to make him more valuable than a player with a similar PPG like Nylander, and with their cap situation Chi doesn't need to move him. The only thing that might worry interested teams is his QO but a team trading for him is probably a playoff hopeful/former rebuilder team with cap.

So don't just expect DeBrincat to get his market value in a trade but more.

I'm not sure if you realize how much the Cat is really worth...
