Good teams acquire and retain star players, not offer sheet 4th liners. They are a deep team with a great coach, no question, but in the playoffs it comes down to star players.

I definitely won’t say it’s good yet but I’m just in the camp that I’m giving it a few years before I call it anything. I think they could’ve used those assets better but I also can see a good long term fit and that contract aging really well. This FO has generally gotten moves like this right when the general consensus is against them so I tend to give benefit of the doubt.
