Kent Johnson a signé un contrat de 3 ans d'une valeur de 5 550 000 $ avec les Blue Jackets de Columbus, le 8 avr. 2022. Le contrat comporte un cap hit de 925 000 $.
I cannot wait for him to start in the NHL, but i don't think it'll be immediately. It'd be smart to give him a bit of time in Cleveland, then when he excels, he can be called up.
Only problem is why sign him now with 10 games left and burn a year of his ELC.
I would have signed him in the summer to have those 3 years

Because he’s Canadian, he has to apply for a work visa, which usually takes a few days at least. He’s not expected to be ready for Saturday’s game, and there are only nine games left after that.
I’m curious also whether they thrown him straight into the lineup, or give him a few games on the bench/ in Cleveland.
