Well the Jets are doing the opposite of what they should be.

People blame the Leafs all they want but they kept their heads on straight and played with their nose down and found a way to get back in the game (even if they shot themselves in the feet in OT).

The Jets are getting frustrated and being dumb.

Fault the leafs all people want but they kept their cool, the Jets are just not keeping their cool.

rn NOBODY won as PLD looks like the guy who was causing issues in Columbus. He is a liability at this point for the Jets and honestly Laine would have been doing more for them then he currently is

So as much as I don’t love the habs being rusty to start the series, they have to hope the COL vs. VGK series goes the distance so they can have as healthy of a Jeff Petry as possible. If he isn’t able to play, that’s an absolutely massive blow to the habs. He’s probably their most important skater.


Well more importantly imo.. the Habs have given 4 D the entire ice time sheet. Already it was a heavy load but you cannot force Weber/Chiarot/Edmundson pick up Petry’s 18-25 minutes. And Merril, Gusta, Kulak is not exactly anyone I’d love to see hit 18-25. Gonna be interesting to see what they do.

Merrill’s still injured. So if he is out, I’d guess that Romanov/Kulak would share Petry’s minutes.

I’d go Romanov bigger role tbh. Gotta see if he can keep pace with the other kids. It’s worth the shot. He’s a good player if he can put it together like the rest of the team.

I was offline for quite a while watching the games and stuff, and dang is Winnipeg ever getting beaten bad. I don't care how good they do in the conference finals, Montreal is already the Cinderella story of this playoff.
Colorado didn't look like their normal selves against Vegas tonight. They gotta get back on the horse fast.

Colorado's big 3 (Toews, Makar, Girard) are great, but 1-6 Vegas is better.

Martinez, Theodore, Pietrangelo are all legit #1 D this season and then they have The Hague-whitecloud pairing which is better than a lot of teams 2nd pairing.

Right now, after 8 straight periods of total shut down D, Vegas is undeniably the best defensive team. Their forwards are also excellent defensively, which compliments their D.
