There's been one Carter Hart trade to Toronto in the past day. Stop complaining about it please.

Nylander, Robertson, Amirov, Liljegren, and multiple 1st round picks being labelled as "not enough" for almost any player in the league is near hysterical. There's maybe a handful of players in the league that a package like that is not enough. Carter Hart is far off that list.

People on here need to stop confusing how big a players name is and how much potential they had or have is with trade value. Those are 2 incredible different things. The amount of wins Carter Hart would provide for a team would be far, far, far less than Nylander, Robertson, Amirov, Liljegren, and multiple 1st round picks. Making this an incredible overpayment for a big name goalie that hasn't proved he's a starter in the NHL.

It's not that the offer wouldn't be fair, it's based on how the selling team values the player they are going to ship. Sure that might be something that the Flyers would consider fair if they had another legit goalie, but for a franchise that hasn't had any hope in net for over two decades values a player like this like McDavid. Again, Hart is not worth McDavid - but PHI treats him like him in their circles because he is EXTREMELY valuable to them.

All in all, I don't ever see PHI shipping Hart unless they got a goalie prospect like him in return and some - which probably won't happen. Hart is a good goalie having a bad year because of a poor defensive core, he will be alright.

What a ridiculous overpayment. Leafs next summer could just trade Nylander and then have 7m in cap space to sign a goalie. And next summer with Seattle expansion there will be plenty of goalies available, admitting not with potential of Hart and keep all those assets.

Looks like youre banking on quantity over quality. There are good pieces included, but I think PHI would want a more elite player, such as Marner, included.

As a flyers fan I still look at Carter Hart as untouchable, our d is atrocious and even our "elite prospects" sanheim and Myers aren't playing outstanding this year. I chalk it up to an off year. if anything we need D for in from of Carter.
