But if it’s in season, Vegas still has to clear cap. Like 3 million when McNabb returns. So this would be an offseason move more then now.

Plus at this point there is less then a 5% chance Fluery is dealt in season.

Malkin has a year left and is turning 35 and is Russian, some trades are hard to justify, like Buffalo, Reinhart is 10 years younger and produces, why would Buffalo want to make that move. The prospect and pick I understand but that doesnt make any sense for Buffalo to do

The price from CAR isn’t too bad, but I don’t see them doing it. Trocheck has fit them like a glove this season and is leading the team in scoring.

IMO Pittsburgh would need to add if they Sam was part of the trade.
He playing very well this year.
