How would you get 9OA?

Curious as to how you would 9 OA? I'm pretty sure 9-15 is based on winning percentage, so you're either getting 1 OA, or wherever you would have landed originally. But I could be wrong.

If you are talking about without trades? No. 9 OA is going to be either MIN or NSH I think depending on who wins the lottery

Leafs can get 1OA or 13 OA or 14OA. If its not 1OA, its going to Carolina for 1 year of Marleau's cap hit...

It is impossible for the Leafs to have a 1st round pick this year unless they win Lafreniere and no Moving up from 9 to 4 will cost Marner/Nylander

Actually the Leafs get 1st or nothing they traded their 1st this year and top 10 protected it so if they do not win the lottery the pick goes to Carolina because it will be 13th. Now looking at the above the pick that is proposed in the trade is actually 4th OVA (Detroit) so the answer to the title is no this is not enough quality.

Can you explain why Drysdale wouldn’t be a good fit on Detroit? Both Drysdale and Seider have played LD.

That’s also a no unless it was something like Sandin + 9OA for 4OA which we know you won’t want to do. A top 5 pick hasn’t willingly been moved since like 2008. Also reading other people’s comments that 9OA doesn’t even exist so it would be Sandin ++.
