Johansson probably won't ever make the NHL. I think his top end potential is a 7th D. Maybe that's all Toronto is looking for out of Bracco, but I think they're better off moving him for a 3rd/4th/5th/whatever and drafting a player over moving him for Johansson. What a freaking whiff by Fenton lol, players like Sandlin and Wilde drafter a few picks later and look like all stars compared to Johansson...

I think MN passes. FJ is nothing special, but Bracco is just going to be put on waivers when the season starts next year.

FJ might never be worth signing, Bracco on the other hand could be useful if injuries pile up. I know Bracco has some sort of issue where he needs to be signed I don't understand that situation clearly. In terms of playing in the NHL he really isn't anyworse than Mayhew I suspect. If Wild decline I think it would solely be based on how many contracts they have available.

Bracco will need to pass though waivers and any team can claim him. Tor fans are including him in every trade because of this. They know he's not good enough to make their team, but there are some teams out there where he would have a chance to make their roster and he'll get claimed.

Bracco isn't good enough to make the Wild roster out of camp either, so he'll be lost in the same way. So this trade is essentially giving away FJ for free.
