Define underrated. You can say any player making $5M or more isn't underrated because their team is paying them that much.

Based on general public viewpoints.
Saying someone is worse than they are/not worth their contract/etc.

Dougie Hamilton is the most overrated player in the league. A few others on here belong on an overacted list as well.

Gallagher is overrated if anything hes never hit 60 points and is treated like hes Hall. Sure he does more than just get points but that can be said about a lot of players.

I disagree with Gallagher specifically the way Montreal fans treat him. They treat him like he's a top 10 winger in the league.hes overrated from what I see we such. He is what he is. A good 2nd line winger.

Similarly Manson is treated like he's some super stud because he's tough.

What about Tatar? Montreal fans on this site put him in just about proposal. From his first full season in Detroit to last year in Montreal he has missed the 20 goal mark once and that was his first season and he had 19 goals.

The fact that he’s one dimensional makes him overrated. And his offense is not that impressive either. Solid but great enough to cover his deficiencies to propel him to the status he is given.
