COL is making space for Panarin (likely) or maybe Marner (less likely)

Doesn't look like enough for Soderberg, but Sakic might be up to something like others are saying.

It's a nice pick up for AZ in looking to add some offense.
As for COL, they have a lot of their own people to sign yet. I wouldn't be spending the cash just yet on UFA.

Could be. If they add Panarin, Kadri would be a good addition as 2C. Either Panarin or Rantanen will feed him then, and Kadri proved that he can score a lot when he's playing with the right players

definatly. from an edmonton perspective it will be hard to lose Milan but sacrifices must be made for success

They have 10 players to sign and $39M in available space.

Rantanen could get $10M
Kerfoot about $4.5M for say 4 years
Compher about $3.5M for say 4 years

That leaves $21M and they still need to sign 7 guys.

I suppose Sakic COULD go fishing in the big pond, couldn't he. It will be interesting to see if he makes a big splash next week.

Kerfoot and Compher will likely sign for a bit less (Kerfoot 3x3.75m and Compher 2x3m or something like that).

Not really sure after this trade that COL will bring Zadorov back (I hope they will). They have a couple of prospects which are ready or almost ready to enter the league (like Timmins and Byram) and they just added a LD.

Zadorov fits in around $3M which is the average for the 7 remaining players.

Compher contract is about right. Kerfoot will be around the same as Compher. Zadorov will definitely be returning.

Avs probably won't sign a backup goalie, Francouz will likely back up grubauer. But we could use an AHL starter
