Everyone should hate Washington for destroying this site

LOL</div></div>
Good news is that's the only thing caps fans will have to cheer about for the next 2-3 years. Hockey is a team game and the caps time as a good one is coming to a close quickly. It'll be a long time before they're even close to lifting the cup again.

It's such a ****ty move by the ****tiest team. Every NHL team you would expect would have their own internal way of managing and tracking Cap and use a site like this as a cross reference only. Caps think they're pulling a fast one on other teams but in reality all teams will adjust quickly to not having access to this site in a matter of months and any advantage they gained will be lost quickly. The only people getting screwed are the fans.

A lot of that is how Lalonde uses him. Not directly Copp's play falling off. Copp has said he's be asked to be a checking role and not a scoring role. He's paired primarily with checking Wingers. Give Copp time in the top 6 and his production goes up. That said he's definitely overpaid for how he's being used on the 3rd line.

No. Not paying 2nds to dump any contract or combination of contracts. Wings have enough cap space to re-sign Raymond and Seider. Fabs only has 1 year left, Holl is a cheap buy out. Chiarot is a solid physical defender, he's just overpaid by about 2 million per season but his contract is not currently putting the wings in cap hell.

That Colorado trade is just Brutal for Detroit. Giving away Copp and a 1st for a guy with a chronic substance abuse problem. Copp isn't perfect, but at least he plays hard and shows up to work. I wouldn't trade Copp for Nichushkin 1 for 1 at the moment. Let alone add a 1st to the package.

Nah, Detroit just buys out Holl. We keep the 47th overall pick.

Lindholm is a good player. But the Wings don't have a long term need for Lindholm. He's also 30. Wings are deep at LD and certainly are not giving up Kasper Berggren and the 15tn overall to upgrade at their position of strength while weakening the team down the middle.

Gonna cost more than a 2nd round pick to dump Pageau's contract. Two more years at 5 million for a guy who's basically a 4th liner now.

Makes no sense to make this deal before the draft. You need to wait and see who will be there at 18. NYI will be kicking themselves if a really good player falls to 18 and Chicago takes their guy. All to gain one late 2nd round pick.

Hey Marner
Detroit isn't taking Reaves. Not even for nothing. We wouldn't take him off waivers. Sure, we'd love a guy who can fight but he also needs to know how to play defense and not take dumb lazy penalties. Reaves is also 37 now. His best days of being an effective player on the forecheck are long behind him. He's only going to become a bigger liability in the future. The Marlies are where he'll eventually end up.

That's not even close enough to jump to 15th overall from 27th overall. You would need to add at least two second round picks OR add a player equal to the value of 2 second round picks (preferred).
That said. Wings aren't at all interested in dropping back unless that player coming back made Yzerman's eyebrows raise. Lane Hutson for example. Wings would much rather keep 15 and draft Sennecke themselves.

Wings decline both trades.
Not dumping Berggren for 1 year of a 34 year old Anderson.
Not taking Tavares unless there's major salary retained. His level of play is not worth anywhere near 11m anymore. That money needs to go to Seider and Raymond. He also only has 1 year left on his deal then likely leaves. Tavares has no future in Detroit.

I will die of laughter if the Sharks hire Jeff Blashill. You'll be hearing the word "process" for years while you watch your team get ****tier and ****tier. He even put his magic touch on Tampa. They went from 3 straight cup finals to wildcard team that can't get out of the 1st round with him behind the bench. Trust the process. Haha

Is this enough for Number 1
Sharks would be smart to take that deal if the 2025 pick was unprotected. They'd have 3 picks 1st round this year (2,14,20) and very likely 2 top 5 picks next year. Draft Levshunov and have your #1RD. Plus Moore and Reichel who are both 1st round talents. Essentially getting five 1st round picks for Celebrini. Hockey is a team game. 5 very good players will always beat 1 great player every day.

Wings also had a GM in denial the first 3 years. Ken Holland. Sharks in 5 years will be exactly where the wings are now. Enjoy the ride my man.

Hahaha. Red Wings cap hit was 1m more than the Sharks. Red Wings 80m vs Sharks 79m. And the Red Wings roster is exceptionally better for that extra 1m. Red Wings are 5 years ahead of them in terms of developing prospects. Wings young players are now hitting their strides and were one goal away from playoffs this year. Meanwhile, the Sharks, after 5 years of no playoffs are still bottom feeders and picking up the Red Wings scraps in Zadina and Smith. Merkley is a bust. Weisblatt is a bust. San Jose sold off all their valuable vets for scraps. You only got a 4th liner, an AHL goalie and a 3rd for Brent Burns...and you retained 2.7m in salary to do it. Hilarious.

I do own what I said. Because it's correct. Go back to cheering for you team that starts off the season 0–10–1. Sharks are literally the most hopeless team in the NHL right now. You won't be sniffing the playoffs for another 5 years minimum. And you know it. Sharks are also the biggest playoff chokers of all time. Worse than Toronto. They had a legit powerhouse team for over a decade and walked away with absolutely nothing. It sucks to suck.

Apparently Matthews, Tavares, Nylander and Marner all have great playoff numbers.
Then why have they only won 1 round of playoffs in 8 years?
I don't get it.
Funny how no one brings up their numbers in games 5,6 and 7 of playoff series when they're not stat padding.
But I suppose those numbers will be over a point per game too, right?
Are you still blaming Kadri?</div></div>
I'm not a Leafs apologist. I dislike Toronto. Said that in my first line. Obviously reading is not your strong suit. Not sure why you'd ask if I'm still blaming Kadri. I don't give a damn about Kadri or his stupid suspensions.
I'm not delusional and think Mitch Marner is responsible for all the Leafs failures. He's a damn good player. He's worth a lot more than what people give him credit for.
