You k ow we can see that you’re putting Laine on the first line, right? Like do you think you’re pulling a fast one, trading peanuts for a first line winger half retained for multiple years just because? You clearly think he’s first line quality. Pay for that.

Rather not trade for Laine and keep the picks while signing another winger or better D than Schultz. I'm good with the other two trades though.

Even Garland with Crowse and Petey is more interesting to me. Then Suter Pageau Pod for a 3rd line and a better D than Schultz (is there another ex-pitt dman lol).

Some rumours out there that CBJ might buy him out this summer. That's the only reason I posted this. Don't think it's particularly likely.

All rumors about Laine at this point are just made up, until he gets out of the program no one really know what is going to happen. In general my expectations are that either he will report back to the Jackets and play for us, ask for a trade, or quit Hockey. I dont think a buyout makes any sense.

I'd be curious to see where those rumors are coming from. More often than not, that kind of stuff is just talking head speculation and not an actual nugget from a reliable source.

If Laine’s #1 hater, thebus88 at hfboards, hasn’t mentioned it as a way to get Laine off his favorite team, it’s not a real rumor. And I’ve never seen bus mention it, while bus hates Elvis almost as much and talks about Elvis buyout often.

It's 100percent just speculation at this point but there's not a lot of real information out there this time of year to have some fun with.
