i think i'm a little underwhelmed at the finished product. I don't think this is how colorado can put the strongest lineup out there next season. i think any offer for rants would have to be a major overpay that we basically can't turn it down, i don't think this is it.

10th overall for Savoie. Helenius or a Dman is a way better fit in the Buffalo lineup than Savoie

Devils pass. They aren’t building a one-and-done. Bratt is on a great contract for 7 more years…makes little sense to break up our young core.

I mean sure you're saving probily 4 mil in cap but you're downgrading in player from rants to bratt. Plus you're burning 2 of that mil for basically a lateral move in goaltending. Then savoie isn't ready for 2C, he's played 1 nhl game. For a team that is currently in their window chasing the cup you can't get move one of the top RW in the league and not have your lineup look noticeably stronger.

Mittlestadt is the 2c end of discussion. Not trading Rantanen, they would trade Manson and Girard before doing that.

Buffalo pass, we like Savoie and we don't need another pick, we need roster players.
