Yes true, I'm thinking in this case they have plenty of cap space to sign a couple of the top UFAs to make up their D-core (ie. Montour/Skjei/Pesce, etc.)

Will be interesting how many ufas they go after, a d pairing and a center, all needs at the moment, before trading picks for players and possibly trade any players not feeling the move. In a position possibly to add Reinhart/guentzel with a contract and term they can negotiate, and save some of there assets ready day 1. But a guessing game at this point what there approach is. Abundance of cap and more draft picks than roster spots going forward going to make for one interesting summer anyway.

That's a Robertson trade the Hawks might consider.
