why would the wings ship a 1st and husso for a 36yr old tendy? if husso isnt playing or think he is that bad, just buy him out and trade for a younger goalie if thats what you want to upgrade. Ottawa says no to that trade easily and Chychrun will not help solve the problems on defense and getting lindstrom back surely wont either.

We are thin at RD, and Lindstrom and Gudas are the only two right-handed NHL-qualified defensemen we have under contract for next season, so I doubt that we will be trading Lindstrom for a left-handed middling forward, of whom we have many.

What is with Wings’ fans wanting to drop a 1st round pick for Markstrom? The Wings aren’t contending during Markstrom’s remaining career, they’re still years off from that. Make the pick and wait for Cossa or Augustine to hopefully work out.

Don't understand it either. Most of those fans don't understand the state of the team. They just think "we close to playoffs, now we spend big, make team better".
