Frank Seravelli should be higher. I've never read something from him and thought "is this just mouthpiece for the league? Is this just him doing someone a favor?" Sure, his opinions are bold and sometimes come off as unpolished, but his content is no fluff, to the point.

i'd say pagnotta gives "vegas strip gambler probably involved in illegal stuff, almost modern mafia" vibes but the info i've heard from him has been fine... i haven't heard much from him tho to be fair

chris johnston used to be fine... albeit he was better when he was still with SN or TSN, now he's more on his own working for whoever will hire him so i won't argue he's declined

i've never liked seravelli even tho once in a while he has a good nugget of news... i swear he hated pittsburgh so thats part of my dislike for him... all last summer he was denying the EK to PIT stuff, the last few years all his news and predictions around PIT has been down so thats def affecting my personal rating lol tears of joy

Seravalli is often late to the program. Will report yesterdays news as something he is breaking today. At least that’s always been my impression.

For a long time, I refused to buy what Pagnotta was selling. (I think it was the mock turtleneck). But I have come around. He does seem to have good sources.

Also…there are a ton of good beat writers that are good to read for specific teams.

Pretty sure Seravalli lives in Philly, so that explains that.

He's from Philly, so he probably does hate Pittsburg deep down. Haha.
