Canes pass. Freddie and Ullmark are about the same caliber of goalie, so that makes no sense to swap. And the rest won’t be enough for Necas. Canes would want a player who can immediately step in and be as good or be an upgrade on Necas. Boston only has 1 player of that sort, and I highly doubt they consider moving Pasta now.

My thinking is that Carolina would move Necas in order to extend Guentzel and/or Skjei/Pesce, so this trade would only work if Carolina is taking back picks and prospects. As a Leafs fan, I can assure you that Carolina is not winning a cup with Andersen as your starter. Ullmark is a vastly more consistent (not to mention healthy) goaltender

If a trade with Boston for a goalie would happen, it would likely be for Swayman and I don’t see Boston doing that.

Canes pass. The minimal upgrade from Andersen to Ullmark isn’t worth giving Necas for. If we were swapping goalies, Swayman would be the ask, which isn’t happening.

That offer isn't getting you Necas out of Carolina.

And Noah Hanifin either stays in Vegas or goes to Tampa. Reports are that he wants to go to a tax free State.
