Seriously why does Seider with the way the cap is rocketing up lock himself up that long? Do a 2-3 year bridge and look in the 10+ range

Is Julien Brisebois suffering brain damage ? He'd have to be signing Edmundson for 3.3 million especially with how well Lilleberg is playing he'll be and should be 3LD next year. Stamkos isn't signing that cheap this is awful. I agree I HOPE NOT!!

Every time Brisebois is asked about Jeannot he gets giddy. You either didn't see or don't remember what was given up to get him. This is an extremely easy no.

Unless you're a Blues , Lightning,VGK, or Kraken fan you have only your team and the 27 others who voted against a proposal by TB in the summer of 15 requiring the 20 man roster iced must be compliant during the playoffs.VGK and Seattle weren't in the league yet , and only St.Louis voted with TB.

If Tampa isn’t interested, Carolina is another option.</div></div>
If they can stay under the cap with his 2.5 on the books place him on LTIR then and get the relief they can acrue more TDL cap space not having that 2.5 million on the roster all year.

And TB only took seabrooke to dump 5,000,000 cap hit albatross that was Tyler Johnson which was how it opened cap space maybe if TB had a really F***Ed contract it was looking to dump like TJ's yeah otherwise it's absolutely useless and TB would be financially responsible for the minimum 20 %uninsured portion of the contract in real dollars. Dumping Poolman will cost you they won't do it free either

No I'm not I'm dumping on their management. Mathews and Kucherov contracts started in 19/20 season Kucherov was coming off a 128 point season and signed 2.1 mil less than Mathews did Mathews get "Max dollars " no but as I was using it before yes. What's more important to Mathews winning or money? So I guess you brought me to dumping on the players too. Has nothing to do with the fans I feel about Toronto fans much like I did about Red Sox fans prior to 2003 lovable losers. Every fan base has their
A-Holes, but I don't dislike Toronto anymore than Detroit Ottawa Montreal Boston Buffalo the Panthers

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>RipNasty</b></div><div>None of them got max dollars. Going by cap percentage alone they got less than many players who are considered bargains. Matthews new deal is a smaller cap percentage than McDavid got when he signed his 12.5 million dollar deal. It's less than Crosby got when he got his last deal. Also after next season JT gets a major pay cut. But you guys ignore all that so you can chirp eh? It's very transparent and dumb</div></div>
Ok so instead of understanding the point you make a grammatical argument. Who considers McDavid a bargain? He's paid fair market value if not overpaid at the time. And your picking out one player if you had one guy that's one thing but they have 5 guys averaging 11.5% of Toronto s cap. Any one of those contracts individually are high but definitely workable , however taken in total is the problem.

It's not the actual dollars, it's the percentage of cap the top 5 take up 48005616 or 57.5% of their salary cap which leaves 42.5% for 18 players see the problem

Maybe ,but to blame him for that 2-1 is just to use your word nonsense.
Did he really? Making the play that caused it to be 1-0 when Toronto was pushing is made up for by a play helping a late goal to make it 4-1 with no realistic hope for a comeback?

Go look Edmundson pinched with Reaves (F3) backing him up as he's supposed to everything is as should be until Reaves takes himself out of position by going for the hit.(Bringing snot)

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>RipNasty</b></div><div>Rielly rarely makes a bad pinch. It's the other plugs, Edmunson was the reason there was a 2 on 1 for the first goal. He had no business pinching at that moment. Benoit gets caught pinching, same with Brodie, Gio, McCabe at times. Liljegren every once and a while but it's just how they are coached. It's a system thing, pinch all the time keep the puck in the zone. It doesn't work in the playoffs Keefe. Schenn did well last year because he never pinched unless it was a for sure thing.</div></div>
No he wasn't Reaves was Edmundson had pinched and Reaves as F3 was already backing up then changed his mind and took himself out of position to "make the big hit" instead of doing his proper defensive responsibility
