There is absolutely no chance Leafs do that. Laughton is not worth a 1st, adding Robertson is preposterous

You are probably missing a piece for Necas, but it’s not the worst start that I have seen. 2 young pieces that still have room to improve. If the Canes send a 2nd in return, would the Flyers be willing to send their 2024 1st?

If you remove Barron from the equation maybe, MTL isn't in a pinch so paying to move money around will not be happening.

I think the Ottawa trade could be close. Maybe if we included one of our goalie prospects too.

TK literally scores at the same pace as Brady, including him and doing a deal anything more than like TK and a 2nd is already pushing it. And also if u trade TK u need to go out and get another player like him. U only blow up the rebuild if ur keeping TK

Not at all for Anaheim. As in not a single one of those pieces

Foerster and Bonk would be the type guys to maybe make it a conversation. None of this is remotely compelling enough to trade someone we have absolutely no reason to be moving

You're asking for a 1C for a couple of picks in the late 20)30s, where you find middle 6 NHL talent at best, if not bottom 6, you've offered a very overpaid RHD, and a midget winger.

If you're interested in Zegras, required pieces would be one of Foerster or Tipper, Bonk, and Philly's first.

Sens have no interest in Konecny if they move Brady. If they move Brady it’s to build around Sanderson, Stutzle, Greig, Pinto , 2024 1st and more prospects and young players

I think the canes would be interested in Frost, but not sure Farabee is the defensive stallwart that RBA is looking to shelter. But I could be wrong

First 2 trades both get declined by the opposite. Would need to add some younger player on 1st trade and getting 1st + Robertson is just too much for Laughton.

With this Zegras trade I could live with and maybe the value in Necas trade is also close. Selling team fans want more and buying team fans doesn't want to pay that much. That's usually when the value is correct if both are disappointed. I'm just not sure if Zegras or Necas either will be 1C in cup contender, but both could be good/excellent 2C if they can improve faceoffs and defensive play.

This one is already horrible and you want to remove Barron also? Could maybe do this with Anderson 50% retained + Barron for Johansen. Anderson and Johansen both are cap dumps, so dumping Anderson for 2 years 50% retained would be equal to late 1st. And that is higher value for Barron than what you'd most likely get in trade.

But after all, I wouldn't be rushing the rebuild, slow and steady wins the race, this is marathon, not 100m sprint. Patience, young padawan.

I'm sorry to tell you this but Zegras is not going to get back that return. He's been having injury problems lately and has not scored true 1C numbers yet. Does he have the potential? Yes, but until that potential is on paper he's not going to get back a king's ransom.

You might get a good prospect and a 1st though, but a roster player, one of our best prospects, and our highest 1st for a guy who is currently a consistent 60 point player is way too much. Especially coming off a season he missed most of.

He had a soft tissue injury at the start of the year then got dumped into the boards and broke his ankle, it's not exactly like the majority of players wouldn't have ended up with that injury in the same situation. He's also not Dach who has missed more games than he has played and gets season ending injuries just from getting pushed into the boards. Unlucky, sure, injury prone, no.

Secondly, he did those on his rookie and sophomore seasons, there's no reason to believe he's not going to become a PPG player or better, he turned 23 last month.

Thirdly, yes, he will, because Anaheim is under no pressure to move him. We're not Chicago who was tearing down the house with Debrincat and Dach, we're not Minnesota who can't afford to keep Fiala and have to ship him off for the best offer, and we're not Winnipeg where he refuses to sign like DuBois.

If you had a true top pair RHD prospect in the system we could look at a one for one swap, but your best prospect in Bonk isn't that highly rated. So in order to acquire a guy we've got no reason, or pressure, to move costs what we deem sufficient, and that's Bonk, Philly's first this year, and one of the RW mentioned above.

Well if that's the case we can both agree Anaheim isn't moving him. Quite frankly I don't know where the rumors of Zegras being moved came from, but I don't see it happening either. Personally I'm tired of the Zegras to Philly mutterings, because trading futures for potential star power is not going to fix the mess that is Philly.

I still don't think Anaheim would get those big offers though given the missed season, it really does effect trade value, even if just temporary.

Frank Seravalli, who's track record on Anaheims going ons is horrible. Then a bunch of local columnists picked it up and ran with it.

I don't see him moving either, he's one of, if not outright, our best offensive weapon. For a team wanting to turn the corner next season, moving him makes zero sense.

We're frankly tired of it too, but it pales in comparison to what Habs fans are doing.
