This is intriguing because you know everyone is going to come on here and **** on you for saying this. But if you're a real GM sitting in a real GM chair I think you pull your people into a meeting and you discuss how Rossi and Faber project and if the two outweigh the other.

That said, I would say no. I think Bedard is too special. If it was someone like Stutzle or J Hughes I'd consider it even more.

Thank you for actually having a thoughtful response. I completely agree.

Yea, I am loving that my team has both Rossi and Faber but I would be giddy to hypothetically have Bedard instead.

I can understand the idea behind such a trade. Farber is looking like a true number 1 and Rossi as a great top 6. The big question is to you you a generational forward number 1 for this? If I am Chicago, personally I say no because I think Bedards are harder to come by. But at the same time some GMs look to value Defense more and a trade like is is a start.... I say no and think Chicago says no but interesting to say the least.

Yeah I agree I think this is an easier no than if you exchanged Bedard with another elite but not quite generational player as I said in my post. Hockey more so than football and basketball is much more of a team sport. For as good as Bedard is, he doesn't even play 1/3 of the game. Football, we've seen what Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, and Patrick Mahomes can do. Basketball we see what guys like Lebron James can do. They can literally change games and seasons. Bedard is obviously special and can in fact change games but hockey you need more of a team. McDavid is best player in the world and hasn't even gone to the finals. Ovechkin has only won a single Stanley Cup. So for me, I'm building a team, not just playing my best player. And if you're going to offer me 2 all-star level players for 1, I'm thinking about it.

I honestly don't think Chicago would consider any Bedard trades whatsoever. He's already made such a huge impact on the city and when they finally start winning some games that impact will get even bigger. My son plays mite hockey in the Chicago suburbs and almost every single kid on the ice has a Bedard jersey. They lucked into a grand slam home run with this kid. They're not giving him up unless he forces his way out

He is averaging 19:33. If you round, that's 1/3 of the game.

Or if you don’t round it’s not 1/3. 🤷🏻‍♂️ My point remains the same.

Just to point out.

That's not how rounding works anyway. I know it's been 20+ years since I was in school. But I'm pretty sure math hasn't changed that much.

If the number is higher than 5, round up.

If the number is lower than 5, round down.

Given your dealing with TOI. The TOI of 19:33 rounds with the number 33, not 19, so it would round DOWN to 19 minutes not up to 20.

So ergo NOT 1/3.

Well… 33 seconds is past the halfway point of a minute so you’d round up to 20 technically.

BRUH, go back to school. 33 seconds is closer to 60 seconds than 0 seconds.
