You can drop the 1st and the Rangers decline. Foegele is the only guy in the deal with any positive value and his is not a ton.

I like Nate . Helluva player . But 5.9 .... Jets could rent firepower w that cap space opened up .

I think the time to make a decision on Schmidt contract is in the offseason. The problem of doing that now is that you have to replace (just before the playoffs) half of a 3rd pairing that has done well this season.
