Interesting. Considering you sold everything, this team likely tanks hard and San Jose gets a top pick, good goalie prospect all while Calgary takes on a bunch more cap short term. If you are going to rebuild, there is no point in paying to trade away cap, especially when you acquire more short term. Might as well hope Huberdeau bounces back with a new team and possibly get value for Kadri in a trade of you can. Keep that top pick, since you will need a couple years to develop that player.
I think Jersey needs retention but maybe they do it for that.
Detroit isn't trading ASP, especially for a LHD that actually isn't much of a need. Rumours are Detroit is interested but so is almost every team. Don't see Detroit sending what Calgary wants in a trade for Hanifin. Our RHD depth is basically just ASP and a couple other lesser prospects.
Rooney isn't worth that, to pretty sure every team passed when he was on waivers.
Edmonton also isn't doing that second trade either. Ceci isn't a cap dump like people think and they aren't trading Akey along with a first for a player who's asking price is a 2nd without retention.
Florida might do that. Tough to gauge his value.
No reason for Toronto to do that and it's not even about value more about fit. They need to improve their defense and you traded one away.
I bet you could get a better package geared more towards the futures you are going to need for this rebuilding team for Andersson. Give Buffalo, Ottawa it Toronto a call. Likely every team would be in on him.
Ottawa isn't going to move Zub to acquire Weegar, they need another RHD along with Zub. Maybe Chabot would be a better target for Weegar as he is young and could be a piece to build for the future. Korpi >> Vladar so that's pointless for them. Coleman is interesting but I doubt they have much interest in him. He should garner some interest from other teams though with the season he is having. Also pretty sure Ottawa can't afford the cap in that deal.
Extremely hard pass for Boston. Poitras is a none starter and pretty sure the Lindholm conversation was shut down once his name was mentioned. Even without him in the deal, not sure if Boston does this. Maybe just for Shara a deal could be made.
Don't see the point of the Buffalo trade really unless Coronato wants out.
Tampa likely rather have the steal of that draft than a pick, they need young players coming up and soon.
Philly isn't going to be a buyer.
Also likely all players with no trade clauses say no thanks to moving.
Might as well trade Backlund, he would waive his NMC if this is the team you are presenting him with.
