Leafs counter that habs proposal with benoit and lagesson for hutson and a 1st

Leafs need a top pair RD or a top 4 dman. Wifi would be a great add to any team and so would Kovacevic. BUT they are not what the Leafs need right now. Definitely not for a 1st and our 2nd best prospect.

That's a massive overpayment for Entwistle. He's a replacement level player that you could get on the cheap. He's a decent guy on the ice and plays with grit but the 3rd alone is too much.

Paying that much for 2 AHLers is unconscionable

Kovacevic and Xhekaj can both play 2nd pairing (wouldn't think the cost this much together but reports are we already turned down a former 1st round pick with 2nd line potential just for Xhekaj, so who knows) Aldo don't think that the Habs would be willing to send Wifi to the Leafs anyway.
