I think its from one of those leak twitter accounts that gets things right but is also not a pinch of salt view due to not being viewed as a credible source.

I know the Boone Jenner rumors are fake and all, but I swear to god if the Leafs go out and trade for another 30 year old forward at the TDL I am going to be livid

Jenner would be a solid addition to this team especially as their 3c. Some of his numbers be odd but remember hes in CBJ and they are a bottom feeder

Put him behind Matthews and Tavares and he should thrive.

Also brings a physical shotblocking presence to the bottom 6 on a nice deal with term.


Like there are not gonna be many if any good young 3C's available this TDL

Jenner would be a welcomed addition should we face FLA or BOS this playoffs

If Nick Robertson is being moved I’d seriously consider Dante Fabbro.

The one issue I have with him is what is he away from Josi.

As having that guy as a partner can help influence the numbers in a positive manner and my fear is we give Robertson and a 3rd for him and the numbers tank

My point isn't specific to Jenner (who I think would be a great add at 3C), I'm just commenting on the larger point at hand here. I honestly can't recall a Leafs trade in recent times where they've gotten someone decently young in return. In fact, many of our recent trades have done the opposite (ie moving Barabanov, Engvall, Sandin)

You are not going to get the perfect player but I definitely love his ability to move the puck.



It would be nice to see him paired with a more traditional stay at home D (McCabe)

Like if they can go get Jenner + Fabbro in 2 seperate deals whereby 3RD + Timmins go to NSH for Fabbro and Robertson + idk what goes to CBJ for Jenner would be happy

Dellandrea would be such a great addition. I love this kind of philosophy. Small changes that'll help in the long term. Fingers crossed this is the approach the Leafs decide to use

The one deal I wanted to try to get out of SEA was Larsson and Wennberg (50% ret)

Larsson feels like the perfect Dman for TOR and has a year left on a reasonable 4m cap hit, Wennberg could be a nice 3c candidate beyond this year and he and Willy lit it up at a WC. Think Landeskog was the LW.

Isles dont take many penalties we cant rely on em to win all the time. Besides its the least of my concern. Allowing 2 pp goals on 3 attempts is unaccebtable
