Ottawa has no need for Hart and even less interest considering that asking price. I would never pay that kind of a package for a goalie, unless MAYBE he'd be Sorokin on a great contract

Hawks aren't paying assets for anyone, let alone UFA Kubalik who they already gave up on. Also, that Sean Walker trade is horrible. He's a 2nd pairing defenseman who's wayyy overperforming in a contract year. He's worth max a 2nd round pick + a C tier prospect, not all of that.

tbh I think that as much as I like Forsberg, the 1st and 2nd are the only parts of that Hart trade that carry any significant trade value, so I think that deal is pretty reasonable, give or take a bit of nitpicking at late-round picks or something. But I just don't think Hart makes too much sense for the Sens at this point. quite a bit of money invested in Korpisalo already, and with some young guys knocking on the door, and Hart needing a new contract. think the Sens say no but it isn't particularly unreasonable

Let's say Kubalik is worth a 3rd, Boucher a 4th and Forsberg a 5th (all conservative), we'd pay 1st + 2nd + 3rd + 4th + 5th to get in Cap hell
